CSE to host 'Show me the money! How science gets done - the bottom line' at city hall April 18

Have you ever wondered or worried about the role of money in science? Or how the government decides to fund certain research over others, and why? Two experts will answer your questions on the role of money in the scientific process, and walk you through the process of science funding, from Congress to the lab. Join Casey Dreier, the director of Space Policy at the Planetary Society and Jeanne Small, the chief information officer of Quantum Northwest, Inc., for this presentation, sponsored by Western's College of Science and Engineering as part of of Bellingham Science Week, from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18 in Bellingham City Council Chambers downtown.
