Community Internship Fair to take place Nov. 8 on campus

Students who are looking to gain work experience, build their resumes and develop a professional network may want to attend the Community Internship Fair from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room.

At the event, students will be able to meet with more than 50 social services organizations, government agencies and non-profits to discuss full- and part-time internships. To make the most of the internship fair, students are encouraged to:

  • Research the organizations in advance (a list is available on the Career Services Center's website)
  • Prepare a resume and have it checked in the Career Services Center in Old Main Room 280
  • Review the workshop schedule. Students may want to sign up for any (or all!) of these related workshops: Developing an Internship, Finding Nonprofit Jobs, Resume Writing, Interview Techniques, Cover Letters
