The Associated Students Chinese Student Association, an Ethnic Student Center club, will host “Remembering Vincent” at 6 p.m. on May 4 in Viking Union Room 552.

Curtis Chin, producer of the documentary “Vincent Who,” will speak about Vincent Chin, a factory worker in Detroit in the 1980’s. Vincent was allegedly murdered by two Caucasian males who misidentified him as a Japanese American. The two alleged murderers went to trial and were released without charges or fines. Curtis will speak about contemporary Chinese American social rights issues and how people can get involved.

This event is free and open to the public.
