Carver Renovation Construction Update

Efforts to enclose Carver before winter continue.

ONGOING IMPACTS

  • Pedestrian/vehicular detours remain in place.
  • Contractor continues to mitigate noise, dust and other construction impacts as much as possible.
  • Welding activities are shielded where possible.

REMAINING WEEKS OF DECEMBER

  • Continue installation of interior mechanical and electrical systems
  • Continue interior wall framing and installation
  • Continue interior painting
  • Continue roofing
  • Continue door framing
  • Continue exterior masonry restoration and brick masonry on exterior 1959 building
  • Continue to install glass curtain walls; multiple cranes on site
  • Continue rough site grading and installation of storm water branch lines
  • Begin ceramic tile installation in showers and locker rooms.
  • Begin acoustical spray for gym ceiling
  • Begin 1935 window installation
