Carver Construction Update: Weeks of Feb. 14 and 21

Carver construction activities for the week of Feb. 14: 

• Complete demolition of slab in 1935 building.
• Complete initial phase abatement/demolition of windows in 1960 buildings.
• Begin abatement/demolition of roof in 1960 buildings.
• Continue excavation for building foundation. Excavation work under Gym A will create noise and vibrations that may impact Bond Hall.
• Continue underground plumbing work.
• Continue underground electrical work.
• Continue grading and concrete pouring. Expect back-up beeper noise from trucks.
• Begin structural interior work in Gyms A, B and C.

Week of Feb. 21: 

• Continue abatement/demolition roof in 1960 buildings.
• Continue excavation for building foundation. Excavation work under Gym A will create noise and vibrations that may impact Bond Hall.
• Continue underground plumbing work.
• Continue underground electrical work.
• Continue grading and concrete pouring.
