Carver construction update: 10/3/16

IMPACTS

  • Pedestrian/vehicular detours remain in place.
  • Contractor continues to mitigate noise, dust and other construction impacts as much as possible.
  • Welding activities are shielded where possible.

WEEKS OF OCT. 3 & 10

  • Continue installation of interior mechanical and electrical systems
  • Continue taping, mudding, sanding and hanging dry wall
  • Continue painting
  • Continue roofing
  • Continue wall and door framing
  • Continue cleaning exterior masonry
  • Install glass curtain wall on central bar; crane on the north side will lift panels in place 
  • Begin rough site grading
  • Apply a sealer to gym ceilings in preparation for spraying acoustical insulation. Spray application of the sealer may create odors that may drift beyond the construction site.
