Career Services to Host Virtual Education & Health Career Fair Feb. 18

Students and graduates looking for jobs and internships are invited to participate in Western Washington University’s Virtual Education & Health Career Fair, which will take place from 1-4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18.  Individuals will have the opportunity to connect directly with corporations, nonprofits and government agencies via live video chat to discuss internships, jobs and make connections with recruiters and hiring managers. The event will be hosted on the Viking CareerLink platform, to which all students and alumni have free lifetime access.

The Education & Health Career Fair provides valuable opportunities for individuals interested in many types of careers in the education and health career fields to connect with organizations hiring for internships and full-time employment. Students of Speech Pathology, Education-all types, School and Mental Health Counseling, School Administration, Nursing, pre-Audiology, pre-Occupational and Pre-Physical Therapy along with other health and education related majors will be able to chat with representatives from many area school districts, clinics and hospitals.

To make the most of the fair, job seekers should establish their Viking CareerLink account prior to the event, research participating companies in advance and prepare to speak to their interests and qualifications. For a complete listing of participating employers and information about how to access the fair or what to expect, please visit the Career Services Center website at: www.wwu.edu/careers.
