Campus Resources for Students Showcased at Inclusive Welcome Celebration, Oct. 5

Western’s Enrollment and Student Services is inviting all students to an Inclusive Welcome Celebration Tuesday, Oct. 5, showcasing resources, opportunities, and people who support BIPOC students at Western.  

The event will kick off at 3 p.m. in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room with a welcome from Western President Sabah Randhawa and Vice President of Enrollment & Student Services Melynda Huskey. Students will have the opportunity to meet faculty and staff and connect with offices and organizations on campus that can help them achieve their goals. Organizations represented will include Student Outreach Services, the Ethnic Students Center, LGBTQ+ Western, Student Advocacy & Identity Resource Center, the Counseling & Wellness Center, the Disability Access Center, Western Success Scholars, the Tutoring Center, the Hacherl Research & Writing Studio, Career Services, Academic Advising and Financial Aid & Scholarships.  

Free grab and go refreshments will be available for attendees.  

Students will need to wear a mask and have their current COVID pass ready at the door.
