Call to Students: Share your Local Lobby Day priorities!

The ASWWU Office of Civic Engagement is currently collecting survey responses from students on what local (Bellingham/Whatcom County) issues they find to be the most important.  The results will be used to guide the agenda for this year's Local Lobby Day.

Local Lobby Day (LLD) is a day where WWU students meet with local elected officials and advocate for changes at the city and county level.  This year's LLD will be on Friday, May 7.

All students who fill out the survey will be automatically entered to win one of eight $25 Visa gift cards.

The survey can be taken here: http://TinyURL.com/LLDSurvey2021.  More information on how Local Lobby Day works can be found at the survey link.  Additionally, information on Local Lobby Day will be posted on the OCE Instagram: http://instagram.com/aswwu_oce.

The OCE would really appreciate you taking the time to share your opinions.  The more responses they have, the more effectively they can craft agenda items that reflect the needs of the student body.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Natale Szabo (OCE Local Liaison) at as.oce.localliaison@wwu.edu.
