Board of Trustees announces Presidential Search Advisory Committee roster

The Western Washington University Board of Trustees has approved a 15-member Presidential Search Advisory Committee (PSAC) to assist in the search for Western’s 14th president.

The PSAC will be closely involved in Western’s presidential search process, including the development of the presidential position description, screening and interviewing candidates, and recommending finalist candidates to the Board of Trustees.

The selection of the PSAC was informed by nominations received from the Faculty Senate, Associated Students, Professional Staff Organization, and Classified Staff Unions (WFSE and PSE).  

The Committee reflects a broad cross-section of the Western community both on and off campus, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents, friends and other stakeholders.  

Members of the Committee will be present at the Campus Community Forums starting on Monday, November 2.  The schedule for the Community Forums is available here.
