Bellingham Public Library Seeks Input with Community Survey

Bellingham Public Library has engaged a public library consulting firm, Godfrey’s Associates, Inc., to assess the City’s current Library facilities and future community needs. The public is invited to participate in a Community Survey to share input about Bellingham Public Library service and facilities.

The Bellingham Public Library Community Survey is available online in English and Spanish on the Engage Bellingham website. It is also available in print at the Central, Fairhaven and Barkley branches of Bellingham Public Library.

Participants do not need to have a Bellingham Public Library card or an active account to participate. The survey is 16 questions and should take about 5 - 10 minutes to complete. The survey will be open May 2 – 31, 2022.

“Responses to this survey will be used to develop a 10-year Facilities Master Plan for the Library,” explained Rebecca Judd, Bellingham Public Library Director. “The plan will guide us in future decisions about the size and types of library facilities we need in Bellingham and where they should be located. We want to know which Library services are most important to our community and what improvements people would like to see.”
