B Gallery hosting 'Print Matter(s)' exhibition through May 25

The Print Matter(s) exhibition on display through May 25  in the WWU B Gallery inside the Fine Arts building highlights a selection of print-based works that have been created in the Etching and Printmaking 1 classes. The works explore a variety of subject matters and printmaking techniques (including etching, relief, silkscreen, combination print, etc.). In addition, 15 prints from the Print is Dead portfolio project, organized by local artist Margot B. Myers, are displayed. This portfolio features both local and national print artists, who have created print works in response to the statement that ‘Print is Dead’. The resulting artwork consists of prints from varied editions, and many of the works utilize mixed media methods.
