AUAP to hold welcoming ceremony Feb. 27

 

The Asia University America Program at Western Washington University will hold a ceremony at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, to welcome 73 students from Tokyo's Asia University. The students will begin a five-month English language and cultural orientation program at Western.

The ceremony will take place in the Viking Union Multi-Purpose Room, and a reception will be held immediately following the ceremony. This event is free and open to the public.

The AUAP offers students from Asia University in Tokyo an opportunity to study abroad at WWU. The goal of the program is to provide Asia University students with high quality English language instruction and culturally enriching extracurricular activities, while at the same time offering WWU students, faculty and staff unique opportunities for language and cultural interaction, exchange and involvement.
