AUAP to hold talent showcase, with performances by Japanese and American students

The Asia University America Program at Western Washington University will hold a Talent Showcase from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 6, in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room on campus.

The Talent Showcase is an evening of performances that are prepared by AUAP and WWU students together. The students decide on performances and begin practicing early – their enthusiasm for their projects is hard to beat! Performances generally include bands, dances, and videos or slideshows, and student MCs always add a good dose of humor to the evening.

This event is free and open to the public.

The AUAP is an English language and cultural orientation program that offers students from Asia University in Tokyo an opportunity for a five-month study abroad at WWU. The goal of the program is to provide Asia University students with high quality English language instruction and culturally enriching extracurricular activities, while at the same time offering WWU students, faculty and staff unique opportunities for language and cultural interaction, exchange and involvement.
