Art students create permanent installation for Parks Hall

Students in the fall 2009 Art 495 Professional Practice class worked with the College of Business and Economics to create a photo installation that highlights the collegial environment and dynamic among students and professorsin CBE.

The project is now installed on the first-floor landing of Parks Hall. It is composed of 12 photographs that represent the six departments of the college and show the interaction of students and professors. The photographs are digital pigment prints on canvas, stretched on frames, and mounted to the wall. This is a permanent installation.

The Art 495 class was taught by Garth Amundson, an associate professor of art at WWU, and focuses on teaching graduating art students how to survive as practicing artists.
