Art 371 student show off skills in new 'FLASH' exhibit in B Gallery

Dates of exhibition: Monday, November 21 - December 5, 2016

Contact: Garth.Amundson@wwu.edu

This project was designed to inspire the Art 371 Photography II students to explore the use of flash as a primary light source of artificial light. Using the technology as inspiration, they made a variety of images interpreting their own definitions of flash photography.

Applying different techniques and bouncing light off of walls, students each created exciting images that will be on display from Nov.21 - Dec. 5 in the main hallway of the Fine Arts B Gallery Entrance Space on Western’s Campus. Special thanks to Matt Curtis, Nathan Cranston, Catheleen Abramowicz, and Robin Sizemore.
