Alumnus Jesse Moore discusses 'Life Beyond the White House'

Alumnus Jesse Moore, '05, will speak Tuesday, Nov. 7, at the Underground Coffee House at 7 p.m. on "Life Beyond the White House." 

Moore, a 2017 Young Alumnus of the Year, worked in the President Barack Obama campaign and presidential administrations from 2006 to 2016, serving as associate director of Public Engagement and as the White House's primary liaison to the entertainment industry, faith communities, the Arab American community and youth empowerment campaigns associated with My Brother's Keeper mentorship initiative. He also served as vice president for Civic Engagement for Rock the Vote in Washington, D.C., and is now chief communications strategist for Pop Culture Collaborative. 

Moore will answer questions about the White House, politics and more. The event is sponsored by the College of Humanities and Social Science, the Ralph Munro Institute and the Ethnic Student Center.
