Mongolian musicians to play horse-head fiddles in free April 21 concert on campus

Musicians Urtnasan Gangtula and Tsendiin Batchuluun will give a Mongolian horse-head fiddle concert from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, in Arntzen Hall Room 100.

Cultural commentary will provided by Bolortsetseg Smith. Admission to this event is free.

The Mongolian horse-head fiddle, or morin khuur, is a traditional Mongolian bowed, two-stringed instrument.
