The P: drive migration is complete, with the exception of the final sync of recently changed files. No data was lost during this process.
Those who did not log off their computers last night are encouraged to log out and log back in. If access to any file or folder does not appear, please contact the ATUS Help Desk at (360) 650-3333 or contact your local technical support.
The final sync of recently changed files on the P: drive is proceeding but is taking a bit longer than anticipated due to the extremely large number of files and folders. Files on the P: drive that were created or modified on Tuesday or Wednesday may not yet have appeared or may not be listed as the current version (verify by looking at the modified date).
ATUS plans to send an update on the sync process by noon today.
For supervisors of student employees who access work-related files and folders on the P: drive: As of this morning, the P: drive will no longer automatically connect for students employees. Student employees who need to access folders on the P: drive can re-map the drive on their work computers:
- Open My Computer
- Click Map Network Drive…
- Select P: in the Drive field
- Type \\msfs-facshare\facshare
- Make sure to check Reconnect at logon
If preferred, students can just open My Computer, go to S:Shortcuts, and double-click the shortcut labeled FacShare. They would need to do this every time they need to access the P: drive.
