Chiropracter to discuss health and wellness at Lunch 'n Learn event Feb. 17

The Faculty and Staff Wellness Program at Western Washington University is bringing Dr. Eddie Hansen from Natural Way Chiropractic to Western's campus for a Lunch 'n Learn event from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, in Viking Union Room 552.

Hansen will be covering the basics of how we lose our health slowly and quietly. It happens over months, years and even decades, and because it is gradual, most people don't notice it until something becomes severe. Hansen will cover the main components for the human body to get and stay healthy. He'll discuss what it means to eat well, to move well (posture, stretching, exercise, ergonomics, etc.) and think well (the power of the mind and how it affects health).

Faculty and staff members are encouraged to bring their lunches to the speech. Space is limited and registration is required. Those interested in attending should register on the Lunch 'n Learn Reservation Web site to reserve a spot.
