Opportunities for international work, study and volunteerism to be on display at WWU

Western Washington University’s annual International Opportunities Fair will take place on campus from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room on campus. Nearly 1,000 students are expected to attend the largest campus-wide event dedicated to providing information about work, volunteer, study and internship positions abroad. Fair attendees will be able to meet with representatives from approximately 60 organizations. Some participating organizations include the Peace Corps, U.S. Department of State, Semester at Sea, Cross-Cultural Solutions, American Institute for Foreign Study, Adventure Teaching, Community Empowerment Network and a wide range of internationally focused programs at WWU.

Featured will be the WWU faculty-led study abroad programs during 2010 spring break, summer and next fall.
