Flags to be at half-staff Monday in honor of transportation worker killed by tree limb

Governor Chris Gregoire has directed that flags at all Washington State agency facilities be lowered to half-staff Monday, Nov. 23, in memory of Neal Richards, a Washington State Department of Transportation employee, who died today after being hit by a falling tree limb while working to clear a slide on US 101 near Indian Hill east of Port Angeles.

Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business Monday, or first thing Tuesday morning.

Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
