3 Things: Feb. 24-26

As we do each Friday, Western Today's interns have your weekend covered with a trio of fun things to do on campus for students, faculty, staff, and their families.

1. Western 23rd Annual Drag Show: 7-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25 in the Performing Arts Center 155 - Concert Hall. Sponsored by the AS Queer Resource Center.

2. Our Hidden Story II: The First Generation 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 25 in the Viking Union Multi Purpose Room. The event will feature three speakers from the Cambodian community who have battled adversity to get to success. Featured speakers include alumni from Whitworth University, Western Washington University, University of Oregon and University of Washington.

3. Borealis Wind Quintet: 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 25, in the Performing Arts Center room 024 (Band Room).

And because we care, here's a bonus!

4. Wizards@Western: At 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, in SL 120,  Chemistry faculty members Steven Emory and Elizabeth Raymond will present "Bugs, Lights, and Lightning!" an interactive science program that focuses on the physical and chemical aspects of light as part of the College of Science and Engineering's Wizards@Western youth science lecture series. The show is free and open to the public.
