2019-21 Minor Works Request

It is time for the university to start developing minor capital requests for the 2019-2021 biennium. Minor capital requests are for projects that fall within a total request cost range of $25,000 to $1,999,999. Since the proposed 2017-19 conference budget doesn’t include funding for programmatic minor capital requests, requestors may want to resubmit/update a previous request for consideration. A view of the 2017-19 biennium requests can be found here: 2017-19 Minor Works Requests.

The 2019-2021 request form is now available! However, prior to filling out the e-sign form, please contact your representative to determine how your associated division wants to collect information pertaining to your minor works request. Please see instructions below to identify your appropriate representative.

Your evaluation and recommendations of the minor capital requests from your unit are critical in helping Facilities Development & Capital Budget develop viable capital proposals. On the Minor Capital Request E-form, there is a place for your assessment of the feasibility and priority for each minor capital request relative to your unit’s goals and strategic plan. We also ask that you and your budget manager carefully examine the Project Operating Impacts (filled out by the requestor on the E-form) for a realistic estimate of the recurring operating costs: staff, equipment, etc. Thank you for your time and input.
