New faculty, staff need sexual harassment prevention training

Washington state law and Western Washington University policy require that all new employees attend sexual harassment prevention training.

Faculty and staff new to Western and other faculty and staff who have never taken in-person SHPT at Western can sign up by going here and then selecting “Equal Opportunity Office.”

Upcoming dates for SHPT are as follows, and all will be held in VU 567.

Thursday, Jan. 24, 10 a.m. to noon
Wednesday, Jan. 30, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 12, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Friday, March 1, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Thursday, March 7, 10 a.m. to noon
Wednesday, April 17, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Tuesday, April 30, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
