New faculty and staff should register for sexual harassment prevention training

Washington state law and Western Washington University policy require that all new employees attend sexual harassment prevention training. Faculty and staff new to Western, along with other faculty and staff who have never taken the in-person training at Western, can sign up by visiting the WWU training website and then selecting “Equal Opportunity Office.”

Upcoming dates for sexual harassment prevention trainingare as follows, and classes will be held in VU 567:

• 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 7
• 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13
