Library event aims to help you cope with info overload

Are you feeling bogged down by too much information?

As part of its Academic Literacy Series, the Western Washington University Libraries will play host to a series of lightning-round presentations on coping with information overload from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, in the Learning Commons, Wilson Library Room 270.

Also on the docket are presentations on staying safe in the online world and info from the National Citation Project on how students use resources.

Refreshments and further discussion are slated to follow the initial presentations.

Also, check out the next two events in the Academic Literacy series:

  • May 8: MINE! Who owns your work? What are the copyrights faculty and students have to their own work and how they reuse others' work?
  • May 15 online: FREE! I already paid for that! What is open access and how does it work?
