Lecture May 1 to discuss ethics in the financial sector

Western Washington University’s College of Business and Economics will host Brian Johnson for its Ethics and Social Responsibility Speaker Series on Friday, May 1, 2015. Johnson will make a formal presentation from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Communications Facility Room 120. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Brian Johnson is a founding member of Filament LLC. Brian has 18 years of experience serving the advisory needs of wealthy individuals and families. Prior to joining Filament, Johnson held management and leadership positions at Bristlecone Advisors and Cornerstone Advisors. His prior experiences also include positions in finance and accounting with Summit Savings Bank and GE Capital. He received his bachelor's degree from Western Washington University. His talk will be centered around his experiences with ethical questions, particularly in the financial sector of business.

The WWU College of Business and Economics Ethics and Social Responsibility Speaker Series program brings senior business leaders to campus to interact with students and share their perspectives and experiences related to ethics and social responsibility. The series is presented by the CBE’s Center for Innovation in Education.
