Learn to prune fruit trees in free AS Outback Farm workshop

The Associated Students Outback Farm is hosting a free fruit-tree pruning workshop from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 16 in the Outback behind the Fairhaven College of Interdisciplinary Studies dorms.

Tom Thorton, owner of Cloud Mountain Farm and Nursery, will teach the basics of fruit-tree pruning in this hands-on clinic. Thorton will address old fruit-tree revival and pruning techniques for young fruit-trees.
