Kimberly Lynn, supported by fellowship, continues research in Venice

Kimberly Lynn, an assistant professor of liberal studies at Western Washington University, is conducting research in Venice, Italy, this spring, supported by a fellowship from the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation. Growing from her previous work on Spanish inquisitors, Lynn is working now on a project investigating the connections in law, publishing and heresy inquisitions between Italy and Spain in the early modern era.

Lynn presented an initial piece of this research in July 2010 in her paper "The Meanings of Moses: Spanish Clerics, Venetian Printers, and the Question of Jurisdiction over Jews," delivered at the Congress of the European Association of Jewish Studies, in Ravenna, Italy.
