The Merely Players offer a free performance of "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)," at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Lynndale Park Amphitheater, 18927 72nd Ave W. in Lynnwood.

"The Merely Players" are Joe Homes, Kyle Henick and Amalia Larson, all June graduates with degrees in theatre arts from Western Washington University.

"In Spring 2010, I and my cohorts produced 'The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [Abridged]' as my senior project," Homes says. "The show gained such momentum in the Bellingham community that we took it to the brand new Funland Theater in Ferndale.'' He insisted they bring the show to his hometown.
