If he left high school, Clark told Aubert, “‘Your life would be over.’”

“He pretty much carried me on his shoulders,” driving Aubert to classes so they could graduate together in June, Aubert said.

Family and Friends will hold a candlelight vigil Saturday for Dwight Clark, whose body was found in Bellingham Bay on Wednesday.

The memorial will begin at 6 p.m. at Brannan Skate Park, located at 611 28th St. NE, Auburn. Clark, an Auburn High graduate, was well known and "loved the skate park" at Brannan, according to many of his family and friends.

The body of Dwight Clark, the Auburn freshman at Western Washington University, showed no signs of trauma that led to his death, according to Whatcom County medical examiner Gary Goldfogel.

Goldfogel on Thursday positively identified Clark, 18, whose body was found Wednesday in Bellingham Bay. He was found with his driver's license, as well as his student ID card, credit cards and his cellphone. Dental records also confirmed Clark's identity.

Western Washington University student Dwight A. Clark died in the waters of Bellingham Bay likely the night he went missing, according to preliminary findings released by the Whatcom County medical examiner Thursday, Oct. 7.

Dr. Gary Goldfogel performed an autopsy on Clark, whose body was found Wednesday in the water near the old Georgia-Pacific log pond.
