WWU women place 18th, men 20th at NCAA II Championships

Katelyn Steen placed 34th to earn All-America honors as the Western Washington University women bettered their national ranking by seven places, finishing 18th among 32 teams at the NCAA Division II National Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Plantes Ferry Sports Complex.

The Viking men were 20th, one place below their national ranking coming into the race. They were led by Chip Jackson, who was 61st.
