WWU women fourth, men sixth in 42nd annual Western Invitational

Sarah Inglis won the women's race for the third straight year in helping Trinity Western University win the women's team championship and Henry Cheseto won the men's race to lead University of Alaska Anchorage to the men's team championship in the 42nd annual Western Washington University Invitational Cross Country Classic on Saturday at Lake Padden Park.

Inglis shaved five seconds off her course-record time of a year ago, finishing the 6,000-meter race in 20:47, some 32 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor, Joyce Chelimo of UAA (21:19). TWU, which placed four runners in the top 10 in winning for the second consecutive year, had 48 points, followed by UAA at 84 and Club Northwest at 119.
