WWU is on the verge of history — in more ways than one. The Vikings are not only in the national championship game for the first time in program history, and seeking their first title. They’re also only the third Greater Northwest Athletic Conference team to make it to this point — joining Seattle Pacific (runner-up in 2005) and Alaska Anchorage (runner-up in 2016) — and looking to claim the conference’s first national championship.
