WWU’s Geary to discuss STEM education in grade schools

The future of STEM education in grade schools will be the topic of an upcoming event hosted by the nonprofit Technology Alliance for Northwest Washington, or TAG.
Ed Geary, director of the Science, Mathematics and Technology Education Program at Western Washington University, will give a presentation covering the current state of STEM training—STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics—in K-12 schooling in the U.S. and offer perspective on where it is heading in the future.
