WWU rebounds with 75-64 win at Alaska Fairbanks

Guard Jenni White had 15 points to lead a balanced attack and forward Taylor Peacocke had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds as Western Washington University claimed a 75-64 victory over University of Alaska Fairbanks on Saturday, Jan. 24, in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference women’s basketball contest at Patty Center on the UAF campus.

Tia Briggs and Sydney Donaldson each had 12 points for the Vikings, who improved to 12-6 overall and 6-3 in the GNAC with their sixth triumph in the last seven games.
