WWU makes list of Top 25 universities in the U.S. for skiing and snowboarding

Founded in 1893, Western Washington University is the northernmost university in the contiguous United States and one of the nation’s top Green Colleges. It’s located in Bellingham and is one of the six public universities in the state of Washington. WWU sits 50 miles south of Vancouver, British Columbia, and less than one-hour drive to 10,778ft Mount Baker and North Cascades Mountain Range, the most popular ski areas in the region.
