WWU ends season with 3-0 loss

Western Washington University gave up two early goals and could not recover in falling 3-0 to nationally ranked Simon Fraser University on Sunday afternoon in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference men's soccer contest at Terry Fox Field on the SFU campus.

The Vikings, who had a three-game winning streak snapped and had lost just once in their previous six contests, finished the season 8-8-2 overall and fifth in the GNAC at 6-6-2. That was a huge improvement over their 5-11-1 mark in 2011.
