WWU CROSS COUNTRY: Western wins both team titles at Saint Martin's Invitational

With the majority of its top runners resting at home, nationally ranked Western Washington University still dominated in taking both the men's and women's titles at the Saint Martin's University Cross Country Invitational Meet on Saturday, Sept. 25, at the SMU campus.

The Vikings' Sarah Porter took individual honors in the women's run, posting a winning time of 21:37 over the six-kilometer course. In all, Western placed five runners among the top 10. Jessica Boyer finished fifth in 23:41, Rachael Johnson finished eighth in 23:52, Lacey Nation ninth in 23:53 and Haida Ikeda 10th in 23:55.
