WWU alum, staff share Peace Corps memories on March 1

Six people will tell their stories of volunteering in the Peace Corps as part of a celebration of more than 50 years of service abroad called "Peace Corps Then and Now" on Thursday, March 1, at Western Washington University.
The event begins at 7 p.m. in the Viking Union, room 552.
The Peace Corps recognizes the first week of March as Peace Corps Week to commemorate the signing of President John F. Kennedy's order establishing the federal agency March 1, 1961.
