Whatcom County schools unsure of status Tuesday

Schools across Whatcom County were closed Monday, and districts were evaluating whether they could safely reopen Tuesday.

Bellingham schools officials were monitoring the weather Monday afternoon but had not yet made a decision. That could come Monday evening or early Tuesday.

The same is true for Ferndale schools. Blaine school officials plan to decide Tuesday morning, based on conditions.
