Western's cross country teams head to national championship

Western Washington University's men's and women's cross-country teams will be competing in the NCAA Division II National Championship at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Plantes Ferry Sports Complex in Spokane, Wash.
Coach Pee Wee Halsell has high hopes for the teams this weekend. He believes that both teams will be coming out of this final meet ranked higher than they were before. The men’s cross-country team is ranked 19th in the NCAA, the women are ranked 25th.
