Western Washington University to have lockdown, test alerts

Western Washington University will conduct a test lockdown drill at the same time the school tests its alert notification system at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 20.

The test of the notification system will include voice messages over the campus fire alarm system, desktop messages on campus computers, text messages to anyone who has registered with the Western Alert system, emails to students, faculty and staff, a message posted to the university website and messages to its Facebook and Twitter pages.
