Western Washington University exposes kids, teachers to cybersecurity through camp

Crabs have layers of defense like computer coding, said Alejandro Mier, a seventh-grader at Cedar Heights Middle School in Port Orchard.

Last week, Mier and 22 other middle-schoolers received a crash course in cybersecurity and programming at Olympic College Poulsbo as part of a free camp led by Western Washington University faculty.
