Western graduates travel with Fulbright scholarships

With help from scholarships from the Fulbright Program, nine recent Western Washington University graduates will spread across the world doing research projects or teaching assistantships this year — the most from any masters-granting public school in the state.
Fulbright is one of the most widely known scholarships, said Tom Moore, director of Western’s Fellowship Office.
“It’s kind of the gold standard,” he said.
