Western alum seventh women’s finisher at Chicago Marathon

Former Western Washington University distance runner Sarah (Porter) Crouch placed seventh in the 37th annual Chicago Marathon on Sunday, Oct. 12, in Cook County, Ill. It is one of six World Marathon majors.

Crouch was clocked in 2 hours, 32 minutes, 44 seconds, bettering her personal best time by 12 minutes. She finished third among American runners in the 26.2-mile.
