Track and field: WWU women set two meet records

Two Western Washington University women, Karis Anderson and Emily Warman, won events with meet record marks Friday, May 11, in opening-day action involving nine schools at the 11th Annual Great Northwest Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Monmouth, Ore.

Anderson cleared 12-6 3/4 in the pole vault and Warman leaped 19-1 1/2 in the long jump. Warman competes in the triple jump Saturday, entering with a conference record mark of 40-5.
