Three centenarians talk politics, religion, prospects

In almost every interview, there comes a lull in the conversation. That’s usually my cue to wrap it up and thank the person or persons for their time.

But in this situation, with three centenarians sitting before me with all their candor, wisdom and sense of humor, I don’t want the conversation to end.

Ethel Putt, Rachel Kalb and Mabel “Oak” Preckwinkle are graciously sharing stories about their families, the short and sweet versions, of course, and their secrets to living long and healthy lives.
