Standout Grad: Jesus Hernandez

Jesus Alonso De La Garza Hernandez will get two diplomas this month: he’ll graduate from R.A. Long High School and earn his associate’s degree from Lower Columbia College. He plans to attend Western Washington University to study business so he can someday run his own.

He’ll be the first person in his family to attend a university, which he said brings a sense of pride.
